Created by Intellect LE, LLC, (Investigator Network's Parent Company), Project Oversight was created to support the work of Parole, Probation, and Sex Offender Supervision Officers in their mission of supervising high-risk individuals with a history of sexual offenses. This Software is FREE to attendees of our Sex Offender Management Symposiums. Oversight

While traveling across the country, we observed that many Sex Offender Units and Probation and Parole Agencies continue to manage their caseloads using spreadsheets, PDFs, and other paper‑based processes. Existing software solutions are often cost‑prohibitive and introduce ongoing operational expenses, placing them out of reach for many jurisdictions.

We developed Oversight to address this gap—providing a practical, efficient solution without increasing an agency’s budget.

No Annual Fee's

All of our software is built to operate fully offline, ensuring that no data is uploaded to or stored in the cloud. Because we do not rely on cloud infrastructure or ongoing hosting services, we avoid the annual operational fees common in other solutions. As a result, agencies pay a simple one‑time, per‑user cost—no recurring charges.

Additionally, agencies that attend our Symposiums receive this software at no extra cost, providing meaningful value without requiring any additional budget allocations. And should we go out of business or disappear from the face of the earth, your software will still function as normal.

Data Stored Locally

Your data is never uploaded to or stored in the cloud. No outside party—including our team—has access to your information. You retain full ownership of all data, and Oversight provides multiple options for accessing and backing it up, including exporting to .csv or using our proprietary .oversight format, which preserves all associated files such as images and PDFs.

Oversight can run directly on a Windows computer or from a USB storage device, giving you the flexibility to use the program in the field or keep it secured in your office. The USB option is especially valuable for agencies with strict IT policies that limit software installation on internal systems.

On-Boarding Made Easy

We recognize that adopting new software or transitioning an organization to a new system can create onboarding challenges that are often time‑consuming and frustrating. To streamline this process, we’ve built tools to expedite setup. Oversight supports the import of .csv (Excel) files from your existing system, allowing you to automatically upload your offender data with minimal effort.

With our integrated SCOPE program, you can efficiently oversee and manage both small‑ and large‑scale compliance operations using Microsoft Forms and Microsoft Teams.

How does it work?

Oversight can be installed directly onto a USB or external hard drive for portable use, or deployed through a Windows installer for local operation on a personal computer. Each installation functions as a standalone system, ensuring that only the user has access to the data stored within the program. While this offline‑only design enhances security and data ownership, it also means information is not automatically shared across devices or users.

To support collaboration when needed, we built flexible data‑sharing tools. Every Offender Profile includes a PDF export feature that generates a clean, comprehensive report with photos, key data, and relevant details—ideal for sharing with colleagues or partner agencies.

For situations where an offender transfers jurisdictions or changes supervising officers, Oversight also allows you to export the full offender record as a .oversight file. Another authorized user can then import this file, instantly accessing all associated information, including PDF reports, compliance checks, photographs, and documentation.

Data Driven

Oversight includes a built‑in dashboard that presents real‑time operational data, such as missed registrations, overdue compliance checks, visiting offenders who have exceeded their permitted stay, and individuals currently under supervision. The dashboard also features an interactive map showing offender residences, making it easier to plan compliance operations or coordinate an effective response during critical incidents.

In addition, Oversight offers a dedicated Reports tab that instantly generates key statistics—such as the number of compliance checks, arrests, and registrations completed within a selected time period—at the push of a button.

Price

Oversight is provided for free to all attendees at our Sex Offender Management Symposium. Attendees will be either provided with a link to download the software or provided with a USB with software already installed (depends on the specific symposium). Training will be provided during the symposium on how to effectively use Project Oversight.
